ATHLETICS 1969

Athletics, with only one fixture, had an unremarkable season. A term starting later than most, and in wet weather anyway, made training difficult and put us at a disadvantage. But though we lost to Ellesmere, we beat Wrekin at a triple fixture at Shrewsbury Technical College Track. Next year we shall have a very fine new set of hurdles, for which the Workshop & Co must warmly be thanked, and these, like everything else, are just there to be overcome.
